A documentary on the impact of the massive North Dakota Garrison Dam Project, constructed in the 1950s by the Army Corps of Engineers, which laid waste to a self-sufficient American Indian community, submerging fertile land and displacing the filmmaker's family and the people of the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.
