Walter Ellis as Professor Bob Hobson in The Threat of the Mummy and Vengeance of the Sorceress

Walter M. Ellis (1943-2004) was a professor of ancient history at the University of North Dakota, as well as a novelist and author of scholarly books on Egyptian Pharaoh Ptolemy I and Greek General Alkibiades. Besides being a devotee of opera and classic blues music, he was also an avid film buff, taught a college course on Hollywood Screwball Comedies, and enjoyed acting in independent movies. The role of Rodric Davenport in Miss Mystic was written specifically for him, but he passed away suddenly of a cancer relapse shortly before production was to begin.
