In an isolated house in the Swedish wilderness lives the photographer Hakan Olsen. Every year Hakan photographs elk hunters during the great elk hunt in the wilderness. And every year he packs his suitcase and travels to Miami City to shoot photos of ballerinas at a ballet school. The Mattlaberg Photographer is the poetic story of an old-fashioned but modern human being who has chosen to live a life full of contrasts, elk hunters and ballerinas.
