At the 1979 National Jigsaw Puzzle Championship, Polly Perkinson must overcome demons from her past and present to defeat her rivals.

The Jig Is Up was shot entirely at the Wrenshall Public School in Wrenshall, Minnesota. The movie was made for the 2008 Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project, representing the Thriller/Suspense genre.
