As it appeared in the 2002 Fargo Film Festival program: ""Thank You, Good Night" is the story of "The Handy Kaufmans," a band of twenty-somethings living in New Jersey, struggling to secure a record deal in the wake of Kurt Cobain's death. After a four-year effort, the group decides to go on the road in a last ditch effort to succeed. Along the way, they experience internal trials and tribulations, constantly questioning their talent and one another."
