Techniques of Film Directing is the title of a moviemaking course at Minnesota State University Moorhead typically taken after Beginning Filmmaking. The class was originally designed and taught by Ted Larson, and has incorporated work on Super 8mm film, 16mm film, and various types of video. Traditionally, each student works on two projects throughout the semester: a small group project and a final individual project.
