The Princess Theatre was located at 415 NP Avenue in Fargo and opened in 1914. Run by Amos Tweeden, it was a "legitimate" theatre showing comedies and dramas.
The Princess was purchased by Leonard Jansen around 1951 and he contiuned to operate it until 1962-1963. According to Jansen's grandson Rick Jansen, the ticket prices in 1960 were 10 cents for children and 35 cents for adults.
