[edit] Plot Summary

Newton's Disease may or may not exist. Griffen Biederman is going to find out. Griffin's own existence is a quagmire of disappointment--work is a vacuum, his shrink is a pusher, and his marriage is a joke. His initial response to a client who may or may not have the disease, is to follow the standard procedure of his employer, Consolidated Mutual Insurance, and deny the claim. But after brooding about both this decision and some disturbing dreams, Griffin decides to buck the system and track the man down to find out the truth. His life will never be the same again.
