Michael Stromenger (b. March 11, 1979) is a writer, director, editor and graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. He worked as an editor/videographer at Prairie Public Television from 2006 until 2008. He now is employed by the Film Studies Department at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

A number of Stromenger's movies have appeared in the Fargo Film Festival, including Matryoshka, Death of Art and One in Nine.

Michael latest film, Cut, was produced by Kak Lee and screened at the 2008 Fargo Film Festival.

He is currently working on his next feature length script, Three Reasons (working title), and beginning the long process of gaining representation.

He currently lives in Fargo with his wife Aimee and their daughter Emilie.
