Mike Scholtz

Mike Scholtz

Mike Scholtz (b. 1969) is a moviemaker who graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1992. Currently based in Wrenshall and Duluth, Minnesota, he is one of the founders of the Free Range Film Festival.

During his undergraduate education, Scholtz was a teaching and office assistant for Ted Larson.

Scholtz is an associate creative director at H.T. Klatzky & Associates in Duluth. He is the leader of the Humble Fling and Free Range Film Festival moviemaking collectives, which compete in the 48 Hour Film Project.
