Lauren Greenfield (b. ?) is a photographer, author, and moviemaker. Author of Fast Forward, Girl Culture, and Thin, Greenfield was named by American Photo as one of the 25 most influential photographers working today. A member of the VII Photo Agency, her work appears regularly in the New York Times Magazine, Time, and Elle and is in many museum and private collections. Her work has been honored by awards and grants including the ICP Infinity Award, a Hasselblad Foundation Grant, and the People's Choice Award at the Moscow Biennial.

Greenfield’s first feature-length film, Thin, was broadcast on HBO and earned her an Emmy nomination for Best Direction. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2006, and won the Grand Jury Prize at the London Film Festival. Her latest film, Kids + Money, was selected for the Sundance Film Festival 2008 and won the Audience Award at the AFI Film Festival.
