As it appeared in the 2002 Fargo Film Festival program: "A wild trip through Indian Country. The scribbler-activist honors his Anishinaabe/Ojibwe/Chippewa traditions in the film with his winning poems, short stories, and barbed humor. We follow Northrup traveling all over the country, living his life in the circle of the seasons."
