The final night at Ralph's Corner Bar, taken by Phil Leitch

The now-demolished Ralph's Corner Bar, which closed on May 21, 2005, was Fargo-Moorhead's independent rock headquarters for many years, playing host to many local and touring bands.

Despite the unverifiability of the claim, many supporters cited the outstanding collection of tunes on the bar's jukebox, and proudly boasted that it had the best selection between Minneapolis and Seattle.

Ralph's Corner Bar was used as a location in a number of Fargo-Moorhead movie productions over the years, and its demise is covered in the documentary North of Nowhere (2006).
