Erika Tasini (b. ?) is a moviemaker currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Two of her movies have won the award for Best Narrative Short at the Fargo Film Festival.
Tasini was born in Rimini, Italy and moved to the United States in order to pursue a moviemaking career. She is a graduate of the MFA Directing Program at UCLA, earned a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Bologna and attended a screenwriting program in Paris. Her short The Burrow (2002) was awarded the Ascent Media Award in Sound Design and her movie Winter Sea (2004), screened at more than 90 international film festivals, winning 21 different awards. Tasini is also involved with theater direction.
