[edit] Plot Summary
During the 1950's, Americans fell in love with the automobile. As a result, the Sunday drive was born, and with it, so was the roadside pit stop. What began as a simple grocery store in the first half of the twentieth century evolved into a motorcycle mecca, and the Rock Store gained notoriety as one of the top motorist destinations in the United States. Despite their success over the years, owners Ed and Vern Savko have not been without their share of adversity, yet through it all they’ve remained dedicated to the ideals they established for their business nearly fifty years ago. Through their devotion, the Rock Store has become nothing short of an icon, earning its place among the artifacts of Americana.
