David Knudtson (b. ?) is a musician and projectionist. He was the operations manager of the Fargo Theatre for many years, and currently works at the Century Theatre. A frequent collaborator with Ted Larson, Knudtson provided dozens and dozens of original, live pipe organ scores for silent movies shown in Larson's film classes at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Knudtson's scores were also regularly heard at Silent Movie Night, holiday organ concerts at the Fargo Theatre, and even during the first year of the Fargo Film Festival. Lately he has scored several silent films released on DVD.
