As it appeared in the 2002 Fargo Film Festival program: "Recent events have taken a toll on a lonely mother as she drinks herself to sleep late one night. Alcohol, combined with regrets and TV images, torment her sleep until she can take no more and decides to put an end to her pain. But an old children's book and a little red ball will have their own say in her final moments"
